Since walking passed the houses that look like cakes at Regents Park, I’ve been meaning to finish stripping and get painting all the doors in my house to look like french fancies with brass nobs on.
Carousels remind me of one of my favourite films Fellini’s 8 1/2 with it’s kind of bonkers fairground scenes. In that is the amazing Claudia Cardinale.
Imagine having one of these in your back garden. Imagine having a garden big enough for one of these.
But sadly, we could not buy this house as they upped the asking price by twenty grand overnight. The one that got away.
I love this Le Corbusier house. And love is not too strong a word. I am a touch in love with black trellises and white rendered walls as well. There will be changes in my garden. Good changes.
