When I was in university one of my classmates tried his hand at producing a 3D model for a project using one of the other faculties 3D printer. This was a few years ago and to be honest the results were a little… sloppy.
Which is why some of these examples of really high quality, detailed models blow me away. Clearly the technology has moved on!
Kind of makes you feel like those scalpel lacerations and weeks of picking glue off your hands were all for nought.
Since walking passed the houses that look like cakes at Regents Park, I’ve been meaning to finish stripping and get painting all the doors in my house to look like french fancies with brass nobs on.
But sadly, we could not buy this house as they upped the asking price by twenty grand overnight. The one that got away.
I love this Le Corbusier house. And love is not too strong a word. I am a touch in love with black trellises and white rendered walls as well. There will be changes in my garden. Good changes.
